When customers use Popl’s badge scanning and digital business card services, Popl acts solely as a Data Processor and Popl's customers act as the Data Controllers. As the Data Controllers, Popl's customers are responsible for ensuring a lawful basis (such as consent or legitimate interest) for collecting and processing personal data. Popl stores or processes badge scan data for analytical purposes and offers tools to support GDPR-compliant handling, including the ability to discard data if consent is not obtained.

- Program Name: Popl Tips & Notifications
- Program Description: This program sends marketing and engagement messages to users to who opt in to receive SMS including tips and notifications on how to get the most value out of their subscription.
- Opt-Out/Stop Information: To opt-out of SMS notifications, subscribers can text in STOP (e.g. Reply STOP to the short code). After receiving the STOP text, we will send a final SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

Popl Data Capture and GDPR Compliance
When customers use Popl’s badge scanning and digital business card services, Popl acts solely as a Data Processor and Popl's customers act as the Data Controllers. As the Data Controllers, Popl's customers are responsible for ensuring a lawful basis (such as consent or legitimate interest) for collecting and processing personal data. Popl stores or processes badge scan data for analytical purposes and offers tools to support GDPR-compliant handling, including the ability to discard data if consent is not obtained.
International Data Transfers
We may send the personal data of individuals in the EEA/UK/CH to third countries, including the United States, where it may be stored or processed, for example on our service providers’ cloud servers. When we transfer personal data, we rely either on Adequacy Decisions as adopted by the European Commission (EC), the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, UK-US Data Bridge, and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) issued by the EC or the FDPIC, or International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) approved by the ICO. Request Verification

Notice of Financial Incentive
Consumers who sign up for our SMS and marketing emails receive a 10% discount on their first purchase. A consumer provides their phone number + email address and consents to receive SMS text messages and emails in exchange for a discount provided via discount code. To opt in to emails, a consumer must enter their email address into the form and submit it. To opt in to SMS messages, a consumer must enter their phone number and send the auto-generated message. A consumer may unsubscribe from our marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email footer at any time. A consumer may unsubscribe from our marketing SMS texts by sending "STOP".
